With great pleasure, we are delighted to share another milestone in the history of Luxaverde: our second display case at Strehlgasse 4 in Zurich has become a reality. After the successful launch in Wil, we are now opening a new chapter in the heart of Zurich’s old town, where urban life, history, and design come together.
It all began with our first display case in Wil. What was originally intended as an experiment quickly developed into an unexpectedly strong response. Numerous positive comments, curious glances, and inspiring conversations confirmed what we had hoped: the concept works. The idea of making our products not only available online but also physically tangible struck a chord. This encouragement was more than validation – it became our motivation. The desire for another location grew, along with the vision of bringing Luxaverde even closer to people. It soon became clear that if we were to take the next step, it would be done consciously, carefully, and in a place that truly reflects our values.
With Strehlgasse 4 in Zurich, an exceptional opportunity presented itself. Located right in the heart of the city, close to the town hall, we found a site that is rarely available. A location full of history and character, with high foot traffic, yet offering the calm and dignity that suit Luxaverde perfectly. Being able to seize this opportunity feels like great fortune to us. The joy was even greater when the contract was finally signed. From that moment on, one thing was clear: the creative work could begin.
Although the basic concept had already been tested in Wil, one thing was certain: no display case should ever be the same. Every location brings its own architectural, spatial, and atmospheric conditions – and we consciously respond to them. The new display case in Zurich was designed specifically for this site. Precise measurements were essential in order to plan all elements accurately. Based on these, custom-made wooden components were produced, each one crafted to fit harmoniously into the existing showcase. After delivery, the hands-on work began. The wooden elements were carefully assembled, glued, and reinforced. This was followed by surface treatment – first a primer, then two layers of a deliberately chosen color that is pleasing to the eye and radiates calm.
The display case was created with great care and dedication by hand. Every detail was considered, every material consciously selected. It was important to us that not only the products, but also the presentation itself reflects our philosophy: quality over quantity, care over speed. Special attention was given to lighting. It was positioned deliberately to showcase the shapes, surfaces, and colors of the displayed products in the best possible way. Here, light is not used as an effect, but as a supportive element that enhances the natural character of the materials.
Our new display case is designed as a carefully curated link between our online shop and the physical world. It invites passersby to pause, look, and truly perceive. Products are not presented in isolation, but shown within a cohesive design context. Visitors have the opportunity to discover materials up close, notice details, and develop a sense for proportions and surfaces – impressions that are often difficult to convey online. An integrated QR code provides a seamless connection to the digital world. With a quick scan, visitors are taken directly to further information or our online assortment. In this way, analog experience and digital functionality merge into a holistic brand experience.
The interaction of wood, color, light, and selected products creates a warm, almost homely atmosphere. At the same time, the design remains clear, calm, and modern. This balance is central to Luxaverde: close to nature yet elegant, understated yet expressive. The display case is not meant to be loud advertising, but a quiet storyteller of our brand world – conveying a sense of calm, naturalness, and conscious design.
Another key aspect is the way the products are staged. They are deliberately arranged in a way that feels close to everyday use. They show not only what we offer, but also how our products could look and feel in one’s own home. This creates a realistic impression that inspires and sparks the imagination. The display case tells stories, invites dreaming, and encourages reflection on one’s own living space and its atmosphere.
The installation of the display case in Zurich took place on January 11, 2026. For us, this day marks another important step on our journey. Our new presence in Zurich symbolises our mission to make the world a little more conscious, closer to nature, and more inviting. With every new point of contact, we aim to raise awareness for sustainable materials, high-quality craftsmanship, and timeless design. The display case is not merely a presentation space – it is an expression of our values.
With our new location on Strehlgasse, we are creating a place of encounter – subtle yet impactful. A brand ambassador in the middle of the city that speaks without words, yet tells a great deal. We are very much looking forward to sharing Luxaverde with you here and bringing you a little closer to our world. Anyone passing by is invited to pause, discover, and be inspired.
